If the background of a text in OneNote is highlighted in blue, OneLatex ignores the text during the conversion process. This allows you to create annotations and notes that are not displayed in the final document.

This way you can add important information like how you got to a certian conclusion, when some text has to be revised later one or referencing to sources by inserting a hyperlink. When you work in a collaborative environment you can also add information, notes and requests for your partners.
